What is SchoolSAFE®?

Provides safety for all those working in schools.

Have you ever wondered the following?

  • What are our legal rights and responsibilities within school?
  • What does the law say I can and can’t do?
  • What do we mean by reasonable force? Foreseeable risk?
  • How can we work together as a team and provide a consistent approach?
  • How can we evidence all the good work we’re doing in our school?
  • How can we develop systems in school to protect both pupils and staff?
  • How do I work closely with a pupil with difficult behaviour, yet remain safe?

SchoolSAFE aims to answer all these questions. The theory programme provides the framework that needs to be in place, to help staff feel supported and protected when working with difficult or dangerous behaviours.

It builds on any behaviour management training and is suitable for all staff working within schools or delivering children’s services.
